Cluster`s genesis in information economics

Abstract

The modern socio-economic transformation becomes apparent within the transition to postindustrial or information society the production activity of which is based on three basic components: knowledge, information and highend technologies. The key point in the study of new information economy is the problem of genesis and development of the localized production systems – clusters. The article substantiates the thesis on the cluster’s institutional nature that consists in effective interaction between company and market. The article also reveals the clusters’ functioning dependence on the level of postindustrial economy.
